Montreal Goldfield Guided Tour

A guided tour by trained local historians reveals the mysteries and anecdotes of times gone by. Follow boardwalks through the beautiful native forest, re-grown since the days of the gold rush moonscape where time has brought back to life a forest of tree ferns, eucalypts and orchids, inhabited by sugar gliders, lizards and diverse bird life. A browse through the Heritage Centre highlights the intriguing stories told by the guides. Toilet facilities and drinks are available. Dogs on lead welcome.
ADMISSION TO THE SITE IS BY GUIDED TOUR ONLY. TOURS RUN THURSDAY TO SUNDAY (closed Christmas Day). Arrive by 1.45pm for tour start at 2pm sharp (latecomers unable to join once tour has commenced). Bookings only required for groups of 10 or more. Tour cost: $10 adults, $7.50 children, $30 family (2A/2C) - cash or card. Time: approx 1¼ hours. 2026 Bermagui Blue Water Classic Game Fishing Tournament

Hosted by Bermagui Big Game Anglers Club, the 90th Blue Water Classic is a NSW Game Fishing Sanctioned Tournament. Competitors who sign up will also be chasing other fish such as shark, king fish and tuna in the waters north or south of Bermagui. There are prizes in various categories in the tag and release and capture sections. Prize categories include marlin, other game fish such as yellow fin tuna and shark, junior and lady angler categories, as well as a small fry section and a lucky angler prize. 2026 Art & Craft Exhibition @ Bermagui Country Club

Whether you’re an artist looking to exhibit your work or a visitor keen to explore a diverse collection of local talent, this event is not to be missed. The exhibition will officially open on Thursday 8th January at 5pm, with everyone welcome to join the celebrations. It will then remain open to the public Thursday 8th & Friday 9th January 11am to 8pm and Saturday 10th & Sunday 11th January 11am to 4pm. Exhibition public viewing there is a donation entry fee at the door.
For registered artists and crafters, entries are now open with delivery of work taking place on Wednesday 7th January between 9am and 1pm. A special Children’s Section “Seaside Delights” is also open to young artists, with free entry. Registered artist entry fees are $10 per artist.
