Celebrate breathtaking virtuosity of birdsong with an array of original new Australian chamber works performed by Claire Edwardes (percussion/artistic director), Lamorna Nightingale (flutes), Jason Noble (clarinet, bass clarinet) and Freya Schack-Arnott (cello). To be held in the magnificent Windsong Pavilion, Songbirds features sounds both familiar and intriguing, both real and imagined, from butcherbirds to blackbirds, taking you on a sonic journey into the Australian bush.
