Rosemary Pleckauskas Exhibition @ Shop7 ArtSpace Gallery

Thursday 16th August, 2018 - Wednesday 29th August, 2018

Rosemary says watercolour has absorbed her creative need over several years. In her words: ‘I like its clean light quality on paper. The work develops over time, a slowly unknown arrival at a state I feel is okay and complete. Choosing a simple shape; repeated over the surface allows me to focus on form, tone and colour arrangements. The design forms that develop express my current state and environment.’

Shop7 ArtSpace is open Wednesday to Monday (closed Tuesday).

The historic village of Cobargo, on the NSW Far South Coast, hosts the Cobargo Folk Festival, now into its third decade.

Folk music is music that comes out of community. It includes the tunes and songs from cultures all over the world – Aboriginal songs, music and dances, Celtic, English, Scottish, bluegrass, Old Timey, African, Indian, Spanish, South American and more  – a huge range. At our festival you will find concerts, workshops, dances, poetry events, singing and tunes sessions across a range of musical genres that make up our vibrant folk culture.

The festival is held in a beautiful rural setting with ample space and excellent facilities (including onsite camping with all amenities). Being fully self-contained means it is great for young children and the festival is very family friendly.

The Cobargo Showground is a short walk to the Cobargo village where there is a good pub, coffee shops, craft and antique shops and a service station. A huge range of food and craft stalls are also provided as part of the festival.
