All safety equipment provided. Fishing gear is also available to hire. Bermagui River boat ramp is directly across the road, so grab an egg and bacon roll and be on your way.

Bermagui Heritage Trail
Pick up a copy of the Heritage Trail location guide and discover people and places of historical significance in Bermagui’s settlement and days gone by. The trail extends over 15km from Cuttagee Beach in the south to Wallaga Lake Bridge in the north. Location guide is available from the Bermagui Visitor Information Centre.

The friendly staff at the Bermagui VIC can assist you with information on the local area and Sapphire Coast region, accommodation and attractions. Free local and regional maps and an extensive range of NSW and interstate tourism brochures. Local art, craft and photography, postcards, greeting cards, souvenirs, inexpensive gifts and other merchandise for purchase. Open 10am to 4pm daily (closed Christmas Day).
The Montreal Goldfield, located approximately 7km north of Bermagui, offers a great outing for families, coach tour groups and individual sightseers. Follow boardwalks through the beautiful native forest, regrown since the days of the gold rush moonscape. Access to the site is by guided tour – tours run daily at 2.00pm (except Good Friday an Christmas Day). Please book for groups of 10 or more.
