Jenni Yamuna Bruce Exhibition @ Shop7 Artspace

Thursday 10th August, 2017

One of the Shop 7 Artspace regular group, Jenni is well known for her metal, limestone and soapstone sculptures. Found timbers, objects, anything that fires her imagination find their way into her pieces of art. In paintings, Jenni is inspired with the interaction of colours. Her creative journey has been one of drawing leading to painting, painting to sculpture. Jenni’s work seems to suggest a sensitivity to the innate being(s) in stone and paint waiting to be revealed. Her work exhibits a strength and simplicity of form that invites a moment of stillness – to be.
