Founder of the Bell Shakespeare Company, John Bell is one of Australia’s most iconic actors and theatre directors. Simon Tedeschi first played in the Sydney Opera Houe at age 9 and is now considered “true greatness” by respected critics and musical peers. 12 February — 1.00pm
Piers Lane (pianist), Andrew Haveron (violinst), James Crabb (classical accordionist)
London based Australian pianist, Piers Lane, christens Four Winds’ new Shigeru Kawai grand piano in the Windsong Pavilion. Lane stands out as an engaging and highly versatile performer who, along with outstanding English violinist SSO Concert Master Andrew Haveron and Four Winds Artistic Director James Crabb, comes together to launch this exciting inaugural Four Winds concert series.

2 July 2017 — 12.30pm
John Bell (narrator) and Simon Tedeschi (pianist)
Perform “Enoch Arden”, a rarely performed epic melodrama composed by Richard Strauss to the words of Lord Tennyson’s 1864 poem of the same name. Founder of the Bell Shakespeare Company, John Bell is one of Australia’s most iconic actors and theatre directors. Simon Tedeschi first played in the Sydney Opera Houe at age 9 and is now considered “true greatness” by respected critics and musical peers. This once only south coast performance will be a memorable experience performed by two great Australian artists.

19 November — 1.00pm
Dame Emma Kirkby DBE (soprano) and Jakob Lindberg (lute)
Perform a program of Renaissance and Baroque duets. Kirkby and Lindberg have been musical partners for many years and are major exponents of early music. Don’t miss this rare and unique window into the world of intimate musical storytelling from the 16th and 17th centuries.
